To:

Mr. Rajavelu

Welfare Association for the Rural Mass (WARM)

31/14 Sattanaickan Street,

Tiruvannamalai

TamilNadu, India.

Dear Mr. Rajavelu,

Enclosed please find the check for the amount of $783.00 (Rs. 35,200), the final installment for WARM’s work with the non-formal education center at Naradapattu.  We apologize very much for the delay, caused by some confusion in our accounting.  We thank you for your co-operation in the matter, and for promptly sending us information that we requested, such as check numbers.   Please do send us a receipt for this check.

While we are very happy that there is a new government school in Naradapattu village, we are also keen that it continues to function well.  As you know, government schools sometimes do not have enough teachers, and there might not be enough materials for the children.  We hope that WARM will continue to interact with the government school and help to ensure that it functions well.  Are the books that Ram brought to Naradapattu now available at the government school?

Please do keep in touch and let us know how the government school is doing and how the children are progressing.  We enjoyed working with you.

Best wishes from all of us at Asha-MIT/Boston.

Sincerely,

Melli Annamalai, Asha-MIT
