3. Briefly describe the
motivation for starting this group.
ð
We would like to introduce our institute
& its activities to you and hope to get
some substantial financial
assistance for proposed new school building & preparation of playground.
Ours is a small village situated far interior from the main stream of
urban population with a view to
provide basic education & other facilities to this backward village named “Vilawade”, Tal-Sawantawadi
,Dist-Sindhudurg .45 years ago, a modest beginning was made by organizing
ourselves in the above named small institution. During the course of last 45
years ago, we have built up one modern school building(clay walls) that is catering the need of this backward population.
With the passage of time, hot awakening has taken place & the strength of
the students swelled like anything. Our only one building premises became
inadequate to accommodate the increasing student population. Besides imparting
education we encourage bright students by awarding merits awards for securing 1st,
2nd, 3rd ranks in
their respective classes. Every year we are also finding a donor for providing
textbooks, school-uniforms, notebooks for the poor backward students. Our
institution belongs enough land more than 04 acres (04 acres & 31 guntha) surrounding by natural beauty.
Higher education
facilities being merge around, we have decided to extend facilities further by
providing additional school building Laboratory, Library, Sports-room,
Office-room, Staff-room & big playground on Taluka level etc.
From 1980-81
academic year we have started secondary school by name “Raja Shivaji
Vidhyalaya” Vilawade. At present Government of Maharashtra issued a grant to
our school teaching staff & non-teaching staff, now our goal is to develop
our school into junior college, but for this purpose, our institution is facing
financial problem. The above fact is to help to restrict the urban students
from migrating to cities thus preventing them from taking hard strained. Hence
we appeal to you to help for this noble cause by extending financial help
generously.

clothing etc. But one donar, Shri.
Chandrakant. R.. Dalvi provides school uniforms to the poor students every
academic year. His declaration is enclosed.
16. How do you perceive that education will improve the lives of children in your village?
ð
The education
change human’s life is a fact. Educated person read, write & think of good
idea. Educated children improved their studies & get the knowledge of
village, state and country. In the world due to education, the children are
going in the big cities and getting good job in the offices or any big
manufacturing company. They earn more, they learn many advanced techniques
which obiviously, raised their standard of living high. And all this is
possible because of education. Thus, this is the major difference between
educated and non-educated children. Hence we assured that due to hard-working
and gaining better facilities these students not only gain their high morale
but also get an opportunity to show their mental- ability, skills etc to the
outside world.

our children will improve the standard of the village in all respect e.g.
farming, industrial aspects, living standard, transportation, education

28. Any additional details you would like to provide to us.
ð
Yes, Our clay
wall school building is now near about 20 years old & have to be repaired.
Our school is granted by the State Govervment. Pay & allowances paid by the
State Government to school Staff. Due to lack
of advance teaching we cannot produced a bright student. We were getting
some amount from the government earlier as non-salary grant as 12% of the total
payment per year of the school staff. This amount was first spend for
purchasing school items, science laboratory practical instruments, stationary
etc. by the institution & then
putup the claim to the government for re-imbursed. But, since last 04 years
government stop this scheme due to financial problem. Therefore, our
institution burden now has been increased to provide these items to the school
every year. Institution have no income source permanently & try to borrow
some amounts from the members of the institution on refund basis for the above
activities.
