We are please to inform you that Asha for Education-MIT (AfE-MIT) has approved US $ 1345.00 (One thousand three hundred forty five only) as the first 6-monthly installment for running 6 non-formal primary education centers by Aviram. We have adapted the budget from the proposed 12 centers proportionately to that for 6 centers as follows:

- 6 NFE' center operational and infrastructure costs are to be funded for calendar year 2002-2003.

- More NFE's will be funded based on performance and results achieved during 2002-2003.

- The funding is for two years 2002-2004 for a total of estimated US $ 4000.00.

 

- However, funding will be disbursed in two installments per year.

 

- The second installment and thereafter will be subject to completion of acceptable deliverables of results, financial statement and project report every 6 months.

 

- Asha suggested increasing the honorariums of the instructors based on feasibility of future sustainability by Aviram.

- A site visit will also be conducted during or as early as possible after the 6 month period to ascertain feasibility and delivery of results.

- Monthly contact with the Asha-For-Education {AfE-MIT} is encouraged when possible.

 

These terms and conditions and an acceptable list of deliverables will be communicated to Aviram by Asha-For-Education-Boston Aviram Project Coordinator.
