We received the proposal requesting funds for the Sikshana project in Bangalore. Upon discussions our chapter has approved the funds for the project. It is very encouraging to hear about your efforts and success in working with the Govt. Schools. We also believe that association with the government schools is essential to ensure progress within our society.

Please find enclosed a check for $900.00 made out to Sivasri Charitable Trust. Asha-Yale has contributed $500.00 of this amount, while the remaining is from the Boston chapter. For our records and to fulfill certain requirements with the IRS in the US, we request that you send us a receipt for these funds in writing.
