COUNSELING CELL

CELL IN CHARGE: KASTURI MUKHERJEE
ASSISTED BY: SANGEETA DEY AND ANUPA DUTTA

PSYCHOLOGICAL COUNSELING

The follow up sessions at individual level are going on for the candidates who are suffering from adjustment problem (from class II, VI and X). These three cases were handled at individual level as referred by class teachers (by referral slip). They have problems in behavioral adjustment, deterioration in academic performances, etc. Several sessions were executed. The common point noticed from their sharing was financial problem leading to parental disharmony. Fathers are alcoholic and do not contribute anything to the family. Their mothers have to bear the entire family burden. As their tolerance level have crossed the limit, in most of the time they expressed their frustration aggressively on their wards which leads to complicacy in their behavior. Since the problems were associated with hard reality and the issue was very sensitive, the cases were handled very carefully. Few more sessions were needed for them.

Another boy has joined in CYSEC to continue his leather training course again . This time he himself is interested to complete the course. His mother has contributed a part of the course fee for re-admission this time which proves her involvement for her ward.

Report updating for the students of higher classes for their future planning.
