The students had their pretest in the month of September. The purpose of the examination was to
asses their preparation for the final exam. 4 girls were absent in a
few papers owing
to ill health and they are supposed to appear in supplementary exam after puja
vacation.
Swati, one of our Asha
volunteers has spent long hours with the students to guide them for the final
exam to score better marks. The children are very enthusiastic to get their
beloved “Swatidi” with them so closely. It was of no doubt the children were
very lucky to get the opportunity of receiving her experience & exposure as
well as the teachers.

PSYCHOLOGICAL COUNSELING
The follow up sessions at individual level are
going on for the candidates who are suffering from adjustment problem (from
class II, VI and X). These three cases were handled at individual level as
referred by class teachers (by referral slip). They have problems in behavioral
adjustment, deterioration in academic performances, etc. Several sessions were
executed. The common point noticed from their sharing was financial problem
leading to parental disharmony. Fathers are alcoholic and do not contribute
anything to the family. Their mothers have to bear the entire family burden. As
their tolerance level have crossed the limit, in most of the time they expressed
their frustration aggressively on their wards which leads to complicacy in their
behavior. Since the problems were associated with hard reality and the issue was
very sensitive, the cases were handled very carefully. Few more sessions were
needed for them.
Regular follow up is going on for 3 boys & a girl to sustain their motivation in the training period.
One of those boys has just completed his Motor Driving training
course and yet to receive his certificate and license.
Another boy has joined in CYSEC to continue his leather
training course again . This time he himself is interested to complete the
course. His mother has contributed a part of the course fee for re-admission
this time which proves her involvement for her ward.
Report updating for the students of higher classes for their future planning.
In this month our children arranged a very
good program on 5th Sep. to celebrate the teacher’s day (Birth
anniversary of Sir Sarvapally Radhakrishnan). This program proved the efficiency
of our children in music, dance, drama etc. That day our children also arranged
some gift & snacks for the teachers as token of respect.
Atish rehearsed his play, which he & his team will perform in the C.L.P.O.A. Competition.
In dance class the students learnt 2 new dances and some steps.
In the yoga class students are revised their previous exercises and learn some new exercises.

items for the decoration of the P.P. classroom and they have also made some

Regular follow up visits were
paid by Arpan to the hostels (Shree
Gopal Bani Bhawan and Khelaghar) where our children are placed . Visits were
