Puvidham – Site visit update [Meena] a. Meena gave an update on her recent site visit to Puvidham. Overall, feedback about the school was very positive. The site visit report will elaborate on these issues. The only area of concern was cleanliness of the hostel, restrooms. b. Project in urgent need of funds – second installment from 2009-10 approved budget is due. Project had a money crunch during 2009 due to delays in disbursal, but teachers showed commitment by temporarily foregoing bonuses. c. Question: What do kids do after they graduate from class VII? Does Puvidham track them to ensure they continue their education? Steward will get back with this information. Meena mentioned that some students have completed their education and taken up jobs. d. For funds disbursal, eval doc, site visit report and half-yearly project update are needed. Puvidham would like to get the funds before end of financial year on March 31 for tax reasons.
