Minutes of the conference call held on 01/29/2011(Saturday) at 8.00pm 


Present: Amrish, Sowmya, Ravi, Priya, Sriram, Rahul, Sohil 


1. Priya presented the work carried out and the progress made by Anu 
and Krishna. The progress is reported in the Thulir newsletters at 
http://thulir.wordpress.com/2010/04/27/newsletter-december-2009-to-ap... 
and http://thulir.wordpress.com/2010/09/28/newsletter/. Due to time 
constraints Priya could not visit Anu and Krishna. However, there are 
regular visits by ASha Bangalore, and experiences and work carried out 
is reported by Asha Bangalore. The chapter depends for site reports on 
Asha Bangalore. Priya included the links to Asha Bangalore reports as 
part of the financial proposal for year 2011. 
2. The chapter was impressed with the progress made by Anu and 
Krishna. Priya proposed the amount for renewal(fiancial proposal will 
be updated to the project website). Considering 5% yearly increase in 
the amount, the renewal amount proposed was $5800. However, the 
meeting discussed the impact of inflation, and agreed to consider 
current inflation of approximately 12% in consumer price index in 
India and decided 10% increase in the renewal amount. Based on this 
discussion, the chapter approved an amount of $6050.00 for the year 
2011 towards Anu and Krishna fellowship. Priya would follow on 
complete the procedures so that amount will be sent as soon as 
possible. 
3. The chapter also decided that in future increase in the fellowship 
be considered on the inflation in consumer price index. Besides the 
regular increase that chapter has been considering. 
4. The meeting decided to have another conference call on Sireesha 
fellowship renewal. 
5. The meeting briefly discussed Ustav 2011 preparation. Ravi would 
contact Aparna who volunteered to organize Ustav 2011 for the chapter. 
Offers received from performing groups was also discussed and decided 
to accept Gandhar groups’s offer to perform for the chapter at Ustav 
2011. Tentatively, the meeting decided to organize Ustav 2011 in the 
month of May.
