Minutes of the conference call held on 08/07/2014 at 9.30pm

Present:  Sriram, Sowmya, Amrish, Ravi, Priya, Kavitha


 The following items were discussed:
 
1. Anu and Krishna fellowship renewal – Ravi presented the Anu and Krishna fellowship renewal proposal for 2014-2015. The progress report and annual site visit reports for 2013-2014 listed at the project were reviewed. The meeting was impressed with the expansion of the activites, and expressed its satisfaction over the progress made by the fellows Anu and Krishna. The meeting considered the financial proposal for the year 2014-2015 at Indian rupees 334000.00. Considering inflation the fellowship was increased by Rs. 21890. The meeting approved to support the fellowship for 2014-2015 at Rs. 334000.00. This is approximatly $5454 @ 61.25 for current exchange rate. Amrish and Sriram suggested that we shold know more about the needs in terms finance, and if Asha is the only support they have for supporting their family. Ravi suggested that the chapter have a conference call with Anu & Krishna regularly to learn first hand about the activities, challenegs they are facing in thir work, and their family needs and that of other Asha fellows. Priya volunteered to set up the call with Anu and Krishan. Ravi volunteered to take care of the disbursal process including the chapter treasury review and sign off for final disbursement.
