Notes on Lessons/Content

The slides of the presentations are so designed that Tamil lettering can be just replaced by English or any other language for delivering the content. The State Board Curriculum is almost the same in almost all the States of India for Science, Mathematics, Geography and English Grammar based on the NCERT recommendations. So, the content is expected to be relevant to the State Board as well as CBSE Schools and also for the Matriculation schools of Tamilnadu.

Planned Activities in December 2003 and January 2004

Ø      The contents of next 25 lessons are expected to be ready with CDs burnt by 20th December 2003.

Ø      Planning to write and distribute the CDs to some Tamil Medium Schools that are interested other than the ASHA project-related Schools.

Ø      Direct feedback will be gathered soon from Urur Kuppam School, Seva Chakkara and Cheshire Home to whom copies of the first CD were sent.

Ø      Also planning to get the lessons done in English meant both for the English Medium Schools as well as the English Medium sections of the Tamil Medium Schools.
