Dear Sir,
We are pleased to enclose the latest installment of payment to the Jeevan Gnanodaya school for handicapped children. A check for $1000 is enclosed. You will separately receive another check from the Asha-Seattle chapter. These funds are being allocated for the payment of the teacher’s salaries for the year 2003-04.
Please send us a paper receipt for this amount as soon as you receive it. Please also send us receipts at the end of the year showing how the amount was utilized. This is required so that Asha-MIT can file these receipts with the US government’s Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
We look forward to receiving good news on progress with the functioning of the school and the ITI. We are also keenly looking forward to learning about the progress being made towards the establishment of a corpus fund.
