A girls interest center will be setup in Kacchi colony. Here, adolescent girls as well as their mothers will be encouraged to come and discuss all the issues pertaining to them. Specifically, girls in the age group of 14-18 years will be provided with basic literacy if they have never gone to school. Girls who have studied but are unable to find employment will be provided computer training and helped to get jobs in the surrounding industries. Vocational training in tailoring, embroidery and applique work will also be provided. We are supporting this project to help setup the girls interest centre and provide vocational training.
