BeT has 178 girls at present, the age group ranging from 3 to 18 years. Each girl will be provided a healthy environment to grow on to become a major, when she will be capable of deciding her future. The girls study in private and government schools and have excelled in their respective classes. Local women and men are employed to run the Home and the advisory committee of 15 members along with the youth executive committee ensures its smooth running.
In addition to supporting the children's cost, Asha for Education is supporting also supporting 'Construction of Children's Home'. For that purpose, the following amounts were funded in 2016: Asha Stanford ($60,491), Asha Seattle ($39,975) and Asha NYC/NJ ($15,074). 40 girls staying in the Kupwara home are now being supported via the Sponsor a Child program.

COVID-19 Emergency Support Awareness Program
A large number of people in J&K state live in the far-flung hilly areas where the medical facilities are inadequate.general population has been ignorant of the consequences and precautions to be taken to prevent influx of the present pandemic. In this regard the BWF team is working to educate and convenience the common people to correct information by means of announcements in local language with help of public address systems mounted on vehicles and distribution of information leaflets
