2007
Maya – a twist in the tale. Indian classical and fusion
dance theater performed by renowned dancer and film actress Shobana &
troupe. The event was held on August 12, 2007 at the Rose Wagner Center in
downtown Salt Lake City and attracted over 300 members of the Utah
community. The event was
co-sponsored by the Dinesh & Kalpana Patel Foundation, India Forum of
Utah, Ashok Joshi, Neeraja & Srinivasan Venkateshwaran, Sandhya &
Sneha Kasera and Royal India.
Zaayka – Indian food festival, held at
Sunnyside Park on May 11, attracted over 300 members of the Salt Lake City
and Sandy City community. A large variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian
dishes from five Indian restaurants was offered.

2005
Sanskriti - Our annual fundraising event
(follow up to Winterfest 2004). On April 17th (Sunday 5-7PM), at the Rose
Wagner Center for Performance Arts, downtown Salt Lake, we hosted an Odissi
Dance Event that launched our fund raising efforts for projects SAVALI and
ASHRAYA.

2004
Winterfest - Our annual fund raising event
- turned out to be a huge success generating $3500 mainly through
sponsorship by eminent members of Salt Lake City Indian Community. The
money was used to purchase a braille printer for DVS as part of the Look
Ahead Project. The event was marked by the demonstration of the Speech
Software by Prof. Vileen Shah of Harold Washington College, Chicago to the
audience comprising of Salt Lake City Indian Community.

2003
Winterfest - Asha Salt Lake City launched
its first fund raising event Asha Winterfest 2003 for students at the
University of Utah, and raised $1200.
Independence
Day Celebrations - Asha Booth organized by Indian Forum of Utah. Asha Salt Lake City
contributed about $2000 towards a grand sum of $140, 000 generated by an
Asha Wide effort.

2001 (Inaugural year)
In October 2001 Asha Salt Lake
joined forces with the Indian Students Association and raised $1500 at
Diwali Dhamaka, an annual festival at the University of Utah.
