Asha-20 Conference

The Asha conference for 2011 will be held during the Memorial day weekend from May 28-30. This year's conference will be held in the San Francisco Bay Area and will be jointly hosted by Berkeley, San Francisco, Silicon Valley and Stanford Asha chapters. It has been 20 years since the inception of Asha for Education, right here in Berkeley, and it is indeed an honor to have it brought back here in commemoration.

From its humble beginnings, Asha has grown significantly over the years. Lots of things have changed and are changing. We, as an organization, have learnt a lot from our own experiences and maybe even more as individuals, but we still have a lot to learn. Asha for Education has worked with numerous project partners and brought about a modicum of change, but there is immensely more to be done. We have gone from an informal bunch of chapters to a much more structured setup as we have evolved and grown in size. Now is a good time to take stock of how far we have come in 2 decades and how far we have yet to go.

Do join us, share your ideas, help shape Asha's future, and help make this a pivotal point in Asha's history, We look forward to seeing many of you and many chapters represented at Asha-20.
