To celebrate Halloween, the desi style!
That’s right ! Thillana, a popular Tamil light music band is back for the 10th year, joining hands once again with Asha, to give you Maya Jaalam - A Halloween Treat.
On Halloween night coming October 31st, the Thillana team will be performing a potpourri of Tamil filmy hits - all time favourites, evergreen classics, jazzy tunes, soft melodies, contemporary pop, and will take you into a magical land filled with music, dance and laughter. Whether you are a fan of A.R.Rahman, or an ardent admirer of Ilayaraja’s virtuoso, a keen follower of Kollywood releases, or just a common man who enjoys listening to music, Thillana will conjure up a number just for you, from its magical pot of music.
So pack up your worldly woes and see the earth around you transform itself into a land of music, fun and frolic, as Thillana mesmerizes you with its musical spell.
All proceeds will be directed towards Asha for Education-Silicon Valley 's ongoing child education projects and other initiatives in Tamil Nadu, India.

Starting in 2000 as an informal group of musically inclined friends, Thillana has steadily grown, adding a number of new faces and fresh talent in various fronts. Over the last 10 years, Thillana has carved a niche for themselves with a reputation of delivering high quality Tamil music to house packed audiences. The caliber of its musicians spans the broad range of music that it presents. Though the primary focus is music, Thillana shows incorporate dances, comedy skits, stage and special effect designs, to produce a complete entertainment package for its audience.
