Known best for sponsoring the largest Holi in the United States every spring, Asha Stanford is comprised of both Stanford students and Bay Area professionals. Disbursing about $65,000 annually, the chapter proactively seeks to broaden the definition of "education" as it pertains to Asha's general mission and make the community conscious of the context in which such education might flourish. The monthly discussion group, a hallmark of the chapter, has grown out of this desire to constantly evolve a better understanding of the complexities and difficulties involved in funding education and associated development concerns.
