Tarang is a day of food, fun and games. This is Asha St. Louis's annual fundraiser to support our worthy projects in India. Games and competitions will be held during the day, culminating in a concert in the evening. Chicago hit band, Sparsh, will play 70's and 80's pop hits and filmi geet.
Refreshments, beverages, lunch and dinner will be available throughout the event. Please join us for a day of merriment, and support our cause.
Since this event is intended to raise money for underprivileged children's education in India, we ask that you do not request discounts or deals. Donations will be greatly appreciated. Every dollar of profit goes directly to projects in India (Asha is a ZERO overhead organization). To take a look at our projects, please click here.
Registration = $5 per game per participant.
All registration must occur at LEAST 30 mins before the competition begins.

TAMBOLA / HOUSIE
Schedule: 3 sessions of 30 mins each. 12:30pm, 1:30pm & 2:30pm.
Prizes: TBA
Tickets are $3. Please buy Tambola tickets at least 10 mins before the session starts.
FANCY DRESS
Schedule: 1pm-2pm
Age Group: Below 14, no restrictions
Requirements: Participants must walk across the stage at least once, one at a time. Bonus points awarded for those participants who make a small speech or recite something that is in the theme of their character or costume. Participants can be escorted or carred across the stage if unable to walk safely by themselves. Participants should be willing to be photographed. A group photo will also be taken of all participants.
Prizes: will be announced and awarded in the evening, during the concert.
DRAWING COMPETITION
Schedule: 2pm-3pm
Age Group 1: 5-10
Age Group 2: 11-15
Theme: Will be announced on the day
11x17 sheets will be provided. Please bring your own drawing or art materials. No wet materials or any type of paint.
Suggested materials: Crayons, Color Pencils, Sketch Pens, Pencils, Charcoal, Markers.
ADULTS TRIVIA QUIZ
Schedule: 3pm-5pm
Number of rounds: 7-10 rounds depending on time.
There will be an action round (Ex: Dumb charades or humming TBD). Each round will have a specific topic / subject. These will be announced. Teams consist of 3 people. Please pre-register your team. If you are interested in participating, but do not have a team member, please arrive at the venue and we will attempt to find a person for you to team up with. If there are more than 15 people, an elimination round will be held. Elimination rounds can be entered individually or as a team. Highest scorers will be chosen. There will be audience questions.

6:30pm: Sparsh - A concert of 70's and 80's hit filmi geet and pop music. Tickets are $10 online. Or $12 at the door. Dinner and refreshments will be available.
Online registration is now closed! But tickets will still be available for purchase at the advance rate of $10 at the venue, till 2pm on Saturday (Sept. 9th).
