Asha Syracuse Presents

Asha for Education is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to raising funds and supporting projects that provide primary education to the marginalized, and the underprivileged, children in India.

Asha-Syracuse

It was founded by graduate students at U.C. Berkeley, who wanted to contribute to the economic and social change in India. The idea caught on. Today there are over 40 chapters in the US, UK, Australia and India. Our chapter started shortly after the Berkeley group, when a Syracuse student, Anand, met Sandeep Pandey, one of the founders of Asha at Berkeley.
