All the proceeds from the event will go to fund educational projects for the underprivileged children in India. Asha focuses on basic education for underprivileged children, in the belief that education is a critical requisite for socio-economic change.

Asha for Education is a non profit organization established in 1991 at the University of California, Berkeley. Currently Asha has 35 representative chapters in other U.S. universities, England, Australia, and India. Our chapter at Syracuse was established in 1996 at the Syracuse University campus.
