Minutes of 'Event meeting' held on 6th Feb, Wed.
Venue: 233, Schine
Time: 7.00 PM to 8.15PM
Attendees:Radha, Vikas, Maya, Vanitha, Prashant, Girish, Kartik, Sujata,Anand

The group dance events that were decided to put in the event were: Gharba, Dhandia, Ghamoor(Rajastani dance-somebody help me with the spelling) and Bhangra.
The members responsible for the events and no. of volunteers required for these dances was decided to be.
Gharba - Radha - 8 Women
Bhangra - Radha - 8 Women
Ghamoor - Vanitha - 6 persons
Dhandia - ?? - 8 persons

To get volunteers, a message will be sent on the Indian listserve by Anand.

There will be an audition of the dances on Sunday 10th Feb, 6.00 PM at Radha's & Veronica's home. This will be a preliminary audition only.

Girish and Kartik volunteered to play the guitar and sing. They will work on finding out other musicians in the campus.

Girish also volunteered to do a Indian Fashion Show, provided he gets enough people interested. Girish will sent out a message on the Indian listserve regarding this.

Natarajan will work out the approximate expenses for the entire event

Vikas will come out with details about the way in which the stalls for the Mendhi, Rangoli and other activities will be set up.

A need for a marketing team was felt, to market the event and collect sponsorship's. The members for the marketing team will be decided in the next meeting.

A separate events listserve will be set up by Natrajan.
