Role & Responsibility

Mainstream 100 begging children had been rescued. Rehabilitation for 100 children who had been rescued from begging get education in Siragu Montessori School started by us from 2000 onwards. Worked with HIV patients and planted 1000 medicinal plants of 25 varieties with the help of 13 Affiliated Universities about 400 College students took part in the year 2001.
Twenty-five Training program conducted in 64 Corporation Schools of Chennai in slum areas from 1997-2003. Take begging children off the streets and place them in schools.  Transform begging children through quality education into self-reliant individuals. Make education enjoyable. To enable all-round development. 

Tsunami Work:
Service at Nagapattinam

Started serving the affected victims from 29th Dec 2004 and continued till date. 

Nature of Work
Rescue & Medical service
a Dead Body removal and medical camp work related activities
b. Visits to hospitals and distributed medical aid and food stuff and daily use kit & etc. 

Relief Works
a. Providing training to teachers and volunteers and distribution of training materials and students activity book with an aim to educate the children about stunami and bring out the stress and truma.
b. Story telling, dancing and singing practice given to the children to motivate them to concentrate on education rather than think about the disaster
c. Frequent visits to orphange set up by Government to entertain the children & etc. 

Rehabilitation
a. Distribution of educational material to Children to College Students
b. Distribution of various relief materials
c. Assistance to various other NGOs in proper distribution of the stuff
d. Renovation and restructure of school buildings affected in stunami (presently compound wall construction is in progress at two schools and renovation works too.& various other activities.
