Carrom tournament
Participants will play 5 games, with each game consisting of three boards. Standard carrom rules will apply for each board.
Schedule:
Orientation and Rules: 3:00 - 3:15pm
Registration: 3:15 - 3:30pm
Playtime: Game begins at 3:30pm. 30 minutes per game. Five games in all with a break of around 10 min between
consecutive games.
Scrabble tournament
The tournament will be conducted at two levels of play - Beginner and Advaced.
Beginner Level: Restricted to player who haven't played in an National Scrabble Association(NSA) club or tournament. Modified NSA rules will be used.
Advanced Level: For the inexperienced player who wants more of a challenge and for National Scrabble Association (NSA) club and/or tournament players. Standard NSA rules will apply.
All players will be provided with a cheatsheet that they may optionally refer to.

Registration: 3:30- 3:45pm
Procedure/Opening remarks: 3:45 - 4:00pm
Playtime: 50 min per game. Three games in all with a break of around 10 min between two consecutive games.
*Marty Gabiel represented the USA at the 2007 Word Scrabble Championship held in November in Mumbai, India.
