Every day, we work to meet different commitments. We work for the sake of our loved ones, our friends, our future. Many of us also harbor a deep desire to work for the future of those much less fortunate than ourselves, but do not know how. Asha for Education's   Work an Hour is an event where you work one hour, out of about 2000 working hours in a year, to educate children in India.

      On Monday, August 16th, the closest working day to India's Independence day, we ask that you contribute one hour's salary or more as a symbol of your support for our cause. The funds raised from this event will be used to help underpriviledged children from a few worthy projects.
