Donate by a Credit Card - Courtesy

  1. We accept credit card donations via AllCharities.com who accept any international credit card issued by MasterCard or Visa (If the address on your credit card is a non-U.S. address, please read point #7 carefully. Donors in Inda: please note that you need to have an international credit card).
  2. After you sign up for a pledge on the pledge page, the AllCharities.com website will popup where you will fill out the appropriate information to make your donation via credit card on a secure server. In case of any problems, you can click on this link to make a donation to Asha at AllCharities.
  3. The AllCharities site requires cookies to be enabled in your browser. Please enable cookies before completing your donation at AllCharities.
  4. The AllCharities e-Giving envelope you will see in the new window is pre-populated with Asha's identification number. If you were sent there after your pledge was confirmed, you should see your donation amount filled in as well. Otherwise, choose a donation amount and proceed to the next step.
  5. AllCharities gives you the option of designating your donation with a message. It would be helpful if you could choose the message to be "on behalf of WAH-2000 Pledge#XYZ" where XYZ is your pledge number which you are told on the pledge confirmation page (as well as in the e-mail confirmation we send you) and which you can also see in our pledge list. If your pledge is not among the most recent ones displayed on that page, please see the full pledgelist. This helps us correlate pledges with donations and is more important if you decide to remain anonymous in step 7 below, or if the name on the credit card does not match the name on the pledge.
  6. If this is your first time donating through AllCharities, you will be asked to provide a username and password.
  7. At checkout, you will be asked to provide your credit card and billing information.Note to donors outside the US: you can fill in your city, and country information in line 2 of the address, and select any U.S. state for the state field (to allow the server to accept the form as 'complete'). The people at AllCharities will ignore this field when they process your donation.
  8. You are given options to share the personal information that you gave AllCharities with Asha, or you can opt to remain anonymous.
  9. You verify all the information you have given AllCharities so far and confirm the donation.
  10. The donation is accepted and you are thanked for your donation.
  11. An email receipt is sent to the email address provided by you. For donations of US$250 or more, a receipt in PDF format is sent in addition to one in plain text. As noted above, this receipt can be used for tax exemption purposes only in the US or in India.
