The Half Way Home is a temporary
shelter service provided by Tomorrow's Foundation
to needy children such as victims of abuse, sick
children, and children who have nowhere to go
during monsoons, until a permanent shelter is
found for them. The home will support 20 children
initially. The children will remain in the home
for a maximum period
of one year. This WAH funding will help Tomorrow's
Foundation build this home and kickstart the service.
Tomorrow's Foundation
collaborates with other like-minded organizations
to provide this useful service today. One half
of the home is dedicated to the children and the
other half is used for various activities of the
Foundation including the Foundation offices, vocational
training and NGO meetings. |
