Volunteer at your Local Chapter

Contact your local chapter to volunteer for Asha and to gain information on meetings and fundraising events, or find out how to start a new chapter. You can also join Asha mailing lists.

Join Team Asha Marathon program

Team Asha is a sports program organized by Asha for Education (Asha) that gives the chance to individuals of all ages to discover the magical benefits of physical activities like running and biking including but not limited to an active and healthy lifestyle. All that while helping raise funds for projects supported by Asha in India. Team Asha aims to provide every runner, every biker with the means to change their own lives and make a positive difference in the life of thousands of underprivileged children in India. The program has been in existence since 2000 and helped hundreds of runners, 70% of them first timers, to reach new endurance levels and take on bigger challenges.

Get Involved with Projects in India

To visit an Asha project, look up the contact person for the project. If you would like to volunteer in India, consider our Internship Program, or try several other organizations. To submit a project for funding, read the project submission guidelines.

Donate to Asha

Make a tax-deductible donation online or by mail. Double your donation if your company matches donations. You can also donate a car, computer, or book subscription.

Support a Specific Child or Project

The Asha Stars program allows a few individuals to take responsibility for a specific project. The Asha Support A Child program lets you support a child's expenses through monthly contributions.
