When Amudha, a bright, mischievious, 9-year old girl, is told by her parents that she is adopted, she is
stunned by the news and grows obsessed with locating her birth mother. She and her parents embark on a
harrowing journey to war-torn Sri Lanka to find the woman who, in order to fight for
peace, abandoned Amadhu at birth.
